Every night we would go and teach English in Maclovio. It was one of the things that I looked forward to the most, although I loved almost everything we did in Mexico.
Interacting with the people always lifted my mood. Their ability levels ranged from knowing practically nothing to being able to have a decent conversation.
Our classes were chaotic, but they always seemed to make every situation lively and fun. By teaching English I was able to learn so much about their culture as I engaged myself with them.
I find it so interesting to hear the story of another's life, especially when it is so different from mine.
I loved sitting on the steps of the community center, as they forgot their problems and their differences and enjoyed themselves. They have so much that they can teach me.
