Casa Emaús

From 1999 through 2001 volunteers did major construction work on this residential care facility. Located high on a breezy mountainside, it is the home base for volunteer groups working in Maclovio Rojas just 2 miles away.

In July, 2003, volunteers reroofed the house shown above. Most of the shingles had been blown off in a severe windstorm in early March. .
